This is a Premium Quality Tungsten Carbide Wire Drawing Die.  The Tungsten Carbide Drawing Die is the inset in the steel. It is riveted and secured in solid steel casing.
A-1 Quality Made in ITALY
The dies can be used with a draw bench, wire drawing machine, even in a jig held by a vise.  A portion of the tip/front end of the wire or tube should always be sharpened or manipulated to a smaller size to fit the hole and be enough to be held by drawing tong in order to pull and reduce.
During the drawing process a lubricant should be used – Wax, Soluble Oil…
Always anneal wire to be drawn and reduced in diameter prior and periodically during the drawing operation.
The tungsten carbide give consistent and smooth finish, they last as long as it is used properly.
Never try to reduce use down to much at one time, gradual reduction is best and annealing is important. The proper use is important for the die to last and no get damaged.
