They are an absolute blast but have had one great shortcoming --- Won't work on water bottles!
That's all changed with the introduction of
Big Blast Caps WATER BOTTLE ADAPTER. Now you can shoot water bottles and have tons of fun.
Designed to fit
Nestlé's brand 1/2 liter (500ml) bottles — Ice Mountain, Pure Life,
Deer Park, Poland Spring, Ozarka, Arrowhead, resource, Zephyrhills and
Pure Life Splash. Fits the 8 ounce bottle but it won't explode.
Also fits Nestlé's Ice Mountain 700 ml. sports bottle* and Sam's Choice Purified
Drinking Water* and more... Will NOT fit Great Value Purified Drinking Water
*Heavier plastic requires more pressure

HOW TO USE
Add 'visual enhancements' to bottle, i.e. Popcorn, Biodegradable Packing Peanuts, Confetti or an ounce or so of water, etc.
Screw the Big Blast Cap to the adapter and tighten firmly, screw both pieces onto the bottle and add around 5 psi of air pressure (firms the bottle) and tighten.
Dunk the bottle in water to check for leaks
Pump up and SHOOT! How much pressure?... see below.
After shooting remove cap and adapter (grip bottle neck with pliers) and reuse on another bottle.
HOW MUCH PRESSURE?
Unlike pop bottles that are standardized there's a zillion types of water bottles and many are different. The best advice is to take one of your bottles and pump it to failure, note the pressure at which it blew up and pressurize to 10 psi less. But there's one more consideration with these adapters:
If your adapter blows off of the bottle when it's shot the adapter threads will receive minor damage and continued use will reduce the service life to around 3 dozen shots. So if the adapter blows off reduce your inflation pressure by 5 psi and try again.
Note: Nestlé's 1/2 liter (500ml) bottles will blow at about 85 psi, we suggest pumping to 60-65 psi to get the longest life out of the adapters.
WHAT TO SHOOT WITH
Airguns, Firearms, Archery (pressurized bottles may break carbon fiber arrows!), Crossbow, Slingshot, Blowgun (spike darts are best), Hang from Drones...
SAFETY
Lay a heavy bath towel or a rug over the bottle while inflating. Wear gloves and eye protection when pumping it up and handling the pressurized bottle. Never put any flammable gases or flammable liquid or projectiles in the bottle. Stay back at least 20 feet when shooting. Never Remove Cap While Bottle Is Pressurized. Never reuse a damaged bottle cap or adapter.
